over-priced

this morning as i shaved
with my disposable razor
i looked at my lonely old
non-disposable razor
and i thought
one of the only things
more over priced than movies
and designer fashion
are replacement razor blades
who came up with such ridiculous prices!?
i used to buy them
until Lauren and I agreed to share a pack
of disposable razors

how can it cost more to make 1/10th of a product
than the whole thing?!

i rest my case

someday i want to work for brownstone

as you can see...my html editing capabilities are very very good
very very very good

gigapixel

my dad sent me this today
not only is this church/room beautiful
but figuring out how they did this is dumbfounding
tilt straight down at the floor - no tripod legs
zoom in all the way - the clarity is so....clear

transportation design

i got this when everyone made such a big deal about the harmful toxins that the plastic bottles released
$14.99 at wegmans
i never did get rid of my old nalgene bottles
i guess i wasn't really that worried
i just wanted to buy something new

dangerous danger

in college
i spent more hours in this courtyard playing frisbee than studying
most of those were wee in the morning after enjoying the special from amore's
our friend greg tried running under this metal sculpture and acting like he hit his head on it
but it was so dark that he actually did knock himself to the ground
thinking he was kidding
we all fell the the ground around him laughing
until we saw the huge purple line across his forehead where his head almost split open

i remember walking to class on this sidewalk
and off in the distance i would hear my name faintly called
moments later if my mind didn't make the connection
a frisbee would wizzzz by my head
flung from the fingers of dave brindley
i loved the danger of walking to class

trash shoot

bram and i were walking in philly on sunday
looking for a certain street
and along the way we saw two trash-can-shoots
i've never seen so many trashcans connected together
i couldn't help but wonder if this wasn't the most expensive way to make a trash shoot

faces

today brought many faces

put your ear here and listen

after listening to some tracks from our possible live album
i couldn't help but walk around the West Chester University
reminisce about my time there
and snap a few shots of the beautiful buildings
the whispering arches is one of my favorite spots

broken

Sept 13
Brian, Greg and Me drive to New York City
We reach the city
We sit in traffic (singing and giggling)
I look down and notice my engine temperate level in the RED
Seconds later steam erupts from under my hood as i pull over down town NCY

Sept 14
We attempted to make it home but failed - many times
One of our attempts left us on this really pretty bridge
Enjoying the summer heat and emissions of the passing cars
One kind gentleman pulled over to let us know that just over the bridge was Jersey City
He emphasized that it was not safe there
I reassured him that it would still be day time when we got there
He said it didn't matter, they'll rob you anyway
We thanked him for the advice and off he went
