Go figure that now he's my dentist by accident
Lauren found him and through conversation found out he was my parents neighbor
Small world - Many teeth

4 years

yesterday i visited mr. thirsty (did your dentist call the suction tube that?)
for the first time in 4 years
i expected the worst
i expected them to book me for six more visits to pull 12 teeth
and replace my broken tooth from bridge at the beach football
and tell me to floss more (which they did)
and make me feel like a horrible person for having lack-luster dental hygiene

BUT - they did not
the DH (dental hygienist) complimented me on my beautiful teeth
the dentist said my chipped tooth would be fine
they did tell me to floss more and not wait another 4 years to return
but the visit ended w/ me hanging out with the dentist
in the basement
looking at his musical gear and practice space
and talking about music and the low "b" 5-string bass notes that break light bulb filaments

over all
my best dentist visit ever
and i got a tooth brush, toothpaste and floss to boot

who knew it could be so much fun
i just might go back in the 6 months they recommended

i wish i had one ounce of their talent

we have some great friends who are great designers
i am super proud of them
